Overview

Downes began acting in Toronto, Canada at the age of 13. He landed his first role as a lead in the indy film ‘My Dog Vincent’. He was one of the leads in the series ‘Higher Ground’ and is best known for his roles on Disney’s ‘Lizzie McGuire’ and Showtime’s ‘The L Word’. He has continued to build his career through study and training.

While he continues to pursue acting he has also become involved in the production side of the entertainment industry, developing scripts and operating as a Production Manager on various shorts and independents.

In November, a procuder's rep attended the AMF (American Film Market) to assist in raising financing for a script Kyle co-write. The producer's rep will be representing the business plan to potential invetores and distributors from territories all over the world.

Series hopeful

Kyle is assisting a business associate to pitch a new series focusing on dance choreographers. If successful, Kyle would lend his services as host of the new TV series!!
